Great time of year to visit botanical gardens!
Tis the season to visit botanical gardens! Many will be at their peak of spring beauty from April to May. I had the pleasure of visiting Golden Gate Park in San Francisco today where the San Francisco Botanical Garden is located. It consists of 55 acres of gardens with over 8.000 types of plants from around the world as well as an award winning California Native Plant Garden and Redwood Grove. The California poppies, Pacific Coast iris, California lilac and azaleas were all in glorious bloom! If you visit Golden Gate Park, don’t miss these gardens:
